Robotic Gynecological Surgery- Does it Improve Reproductive Outcome?
Mr. Alexander Oboh graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Benin in 1994. He obtained Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 2000 and was elected a Fellow of the Royal College (FRCOG) in 2010.
He was appointed Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Hull University Teaching Hospitals in 2008, where he developed expertise in endoscopic surgery, including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, alongside a broad practice in general obstetrics and gynaecology.
In 2020, Mr. Oboh joined the BSGE-accredited Endometriosis Centre at Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust as a Consultant Gynaecologist. He currently serves as Head of Gynaecology Services at the Trust and specialises in complex gynaecological surgery and the management of endometriosis. His surgical practice includes extensive experience in advanced endoscopic techniques, including robotic, laparoscopic, and hysteroscopic procedures.
Mr. Oboh also holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Medical Law, reflecting his commitment
to ethical and legally informed clinical care.
