She obtained a Master’s degree in Insolvency Law from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, a Post Graduate Diploma in Insolvency law from Continuing Education/University of Pretoria (CE@UP) South Africa, an LLB from the University of Abuja and was admitted as an Attorney of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2005. She recently completed the mandatory certification programme of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Nigeria (ICSAN), and has been made a Chartered Secretary of Nigeria. She is a Lead/Internal Auditor, after being certified by the Standard Organization of Nigeria on the ISO 9001: 2025 Quality Management System etc. Halita Adekunle Esq is an Attorney, Chartered Secretary, a Mediator, a medical/legal consultant & Trainer on various aspects of medical law & Practice etc. As a corporate attorney, she has acquired about twenty (20) years’ experiences in the field of corporate, commercial & medical law and practice.
She has also acquired certificate courses from the Institute of Directors (IOD), Employee Assistance Professional Association, the African Management Initiative (AMI) South Africa/Kenya etc. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the Association for Fertility & Reproductive Health, the AFRH Legal Legislative Committee, an Associate of the Institute of Medical & Health Law, Associate of the Business Recovery Insolvency Practitioners Association (BRIPAN), a member of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria etc.
With her years of experience working in hospitals, she has acquired in-depth knowledge and skills in handling legal, Management & Board related matters and is currently the Group Head Legal/Legal Adviser of Nisa Medical Group. She is happily married with three (3) kids.
