Prof. (Dr.) S. Murugan obtained a doctorate degree in Biosciences from Mangalore University in 1996 after his master’s degree in Philosophy from University of Madras in 1989.

He started his profession as an Embryologist from 1992 till date, including ten years in the Ministry of Health, KSA and various renowned IVF Centres in India and African countries like Kenya, Tanzania, etc.

Prof. (Dr.) S. Murugan has performed more than 10,000 ICSI and ET in national and international IVF Centres with reliable skills and excellent success rates IVF procedures.

He has presented and published many research papers and organized ART workshops in national and international conferences.

He has also guided many researchers from various universities and research centres, enlightened students and the general public in ART through lecturers in medical colleges, universities and societies.

His innovative low-cost IVF by “INNOVA’’ technique was successfully launched in 2014 at Chennai to treat low-income infertile couples.

He is an active member of ISAR, ACE, and ERAI organizations.
