Prof. Jean Maria Kasia

for IVF in Endometriosis patients?

Prof. Jean Marie Kasia is a renowned Cameroonian obstetrician and gynecologist who has made significant contributions to women’s health and reproductive medicine. He is a specialist in endoscopic surgery and reproductive health, particularly in vitro fertilization (IVF) and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Prof. Kasia introduced and popularized endoscopic surgery in Cameroon, revolutionizing gynecological care in the country. He also founded the Hospital Centre for Applied Research, Endoscopic Surgery and Human Reproduction (CHRACERH), a leading institution for reproductive health and IVF in Cameroon, where he successfully oversaw the birth of over 400 babies through IVF since 2016.

 

Prof. Kasia’s achievements have earned him recognition, including a prestigious award from Prof. Adel Shervin of the United States during the World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery in 2018. He has published over 150 research papers with more than 1,300 citations and an h-index of 20, demonstrating his commitment to advancing knowledge in reproductive health and endoscopic surgery. As the Director General of CHRACERH and a leader in the Society of Gynecologists and Obstetricians of Cameroon (SOGOC), Prof. Kasia has played a crucial role in shaping reproductive health services and contributing to the development of women’s health policies and practices.
